Product Description
Cold Rolled Steel Round Tube is used in many structural
applications. Because it is cold rolled there is typically fewer
surface imperfections when compared to hot rolled. It is measured
by first taking the Outside Diameter and then the thickness of the
wall.
Cold Rolled Steel is steel which has been rolled at room
temperature, below its recrystallization temperature. This
increases its strength and hardness and decreases its ductility. In
addition to improvement of mechanical properties, cold rolling
results in more control over the shape and dimensions of the
finished product.
Cold Rolling Technology Introduction
- Cold rolling refers to cold-drawing, cold-bending, cold-drawing and
other cold processing of steel plates or steel strips into various
types of steel at normal temperature.
- It has the advantages of fast molding speed, high output, and does
not damage the coating, and can be made into a variety of
cross-section methods to meet the requirements of operating
conditions. Cold rolling can cause large plastic deformation of the
steel, thereby improving the yield point of the steel.
- Cold-rolled formed steel allows partial buckling of the cross
section, which enables full application of the bearing capacity of
the member after buckling.
